Swim The Island 2024 Registration. The race is a 2.1 mile, point to point swim that starts in bayfield, wisconsin, and proceeds across the waters of lake superior to land on beautiful madeline island. The 2024 chestnut appeal burgh island swim will take place on sunday 28th july with a swim time of 11am.
