Volcano Eruption April 2024 Nepal. In 2018, the eruption of indonesia’s anak krakatoa volcano triggered a tsunami along the coasts of sumatra and java after parts of the mountain fell into the ocean. Ruang volcano continues its explosive activity and the ash fall has affected at least ten villages located in ruang and thulandang islands, sitaro regency, north sulawesi province.
This is due to the potential incandescent rock ejection, pyroclastic flow, and tsunami waves that can be triggered by the collapse of the volcano. Overall, 41 volcanoes were in continuing eruption status as of 17 october 2024.
